D'Angelo, the neo-soul singer, was scheduled to play friday of Outside Lands 2013, but due to a medical emergency had to cancel his appearance and several other tour dates. Outside Lands managed to score big and get CHIC to fill in. This is pretty incredible, seeing as how recent CHIC setlists have included some pretty big hits, and manage to end with "Get Lucky". Other hits in the setlist could include "We Are Family" a Sister Sledge cover, "Notorious" Duran Duran cover, and "Let's Dance" David Bowie cover.
