A British alternative singer and musician, Max McElligott started Wolf Gang in London in 2009. While Wolf Gang live is a three or four piece band, McElligott did all the recordings for Wolf Gang's debut album Suego Faults, by himself. Released in 2011, Suego Faults is a well composed slice of symphonic rock (I just learned that this is a genre which is rock, based on classical style composition). Sounding similar to some of the electro-pop bands he has supported, including The Naked and Famous, Metric, and Miike Snow, McElligott's voice goes into a falsetto that brings out a feeling of longing in the listener.
