Of Monsters and Men - Outside Lands 2012

I realize we only have 7 days before Outside Lands starts... so rather than introduce you guys to new music I'm just going to pick and choose artists to highlight that I am rather excited to see!
Lets start things off with an up and coming band, Of Monsters and Men.

Icelandic singer/guitarist Nanna Bryndís Hilmarsdóttir's solo project, Songbird, seems to be at the center of this band's formation, growing to include singer/guitarist Ragnar “Raggi” Þórhallsson, guitarist Brynjar Leifsson, and drummer Arnar Rósenkranz Hilmarsson. After entering, and winning, as Of Monsters and Men in Músíktilraunir 2010, an annual music competition held in Reykjavík, Iceland, the band added two more to the group; piano/accordion player Árni Guðjónsson, and bassist Kristján Páll Kristjánsson. They released their debut album, My Head is an Animal, in September of 2011 in Iceland, it wasn't released in the US until April 2012.

The main song off the album that has been getting a lot of radio play is "Little Talks", and its quite catchy and good! The whole album is really good, but this song stands out as distinct among the others.
